Halloween
Haunted Colbourne Lodge, located on a hill in High Park, Toronto over looking Lake Ontario.
Designed and built in 1837 by city surveyor John Howard. The house is said to be haunted by the spirit of John's wife Jemima Howard, who died after a lengthy illness in 1877. Confined to her room, her last days were spent gazing through a morphine haze at the site of her own burial stone. The strange architecture, and isolated location add to the Halloween theme.
